Created React template + JSON data bundle system. Backend generates data JSON, deploys with template to Cloudflare Pages. Stock updates via separate JSON in Blobstore

Digital resonant controllers at 50Hz always required damping, reducing gain. Poles on imaginary axis considered too risky due to numerical errors

Designed algorithm using only integer arithmetic with shifts and additions. No multiplications or divisions meant zero numerical error possibility

2017
Revolutionary PCB Thermal Management
OMICRON Electronics
The Challenge
Power amplifier needed 2-second pulse capability with much higher output. Traditional PCB thermal design couldn't handle the heat
The Approach
Milled windows in PCB to eliminate thermal barriers. Direct aluminum-to-MOSFET contact through insulator only. Validated with mechanical testing when manufacturing doubted it

- Thermal storage capacity placed directly at heat source
- Pulse mode capability achieved within specifications
- Mechanical tests proved 50-100g force resistance
- Design now in production despite initial skepticism
More Where That Came From
20+ years of building means lots of stories. Three patents including switchable amplifiers. A 750-watt photovoltaic regulator achieving 99.5% efficiency. An automated baby bouncer (because new parents need sleep). Blockchain DEX aggregators. Even a CNC conversion for manual lathes. Each project taught me something new about turning "I wonder if..." into "Here's how."
